The issue with the 883 isnt a problem with power, its how its geared. 5th gear at 70 mph your at 3600 rpm. With a tank that small and no liquid cooling its just not great for alot of highway riding. Btw i have an 883. There is a sprocket swap that allows for better gearing at high rpm. I think im going to consider that before taking a long trip

I know someone who replaced the suspension and better one with a shock absorber too ride's good with a lot of play as well

Group ride or ClusterF**k? And what caused that dude to go down? A stray thought? Much safer to ride alone than with a bunch like that, they'll get you into a jam and not even notice. It seems more like riding amongst or chasing them rather than actually riding with them. Did you get the feeling they actually lost you intentionally? And who's memorial was it, one of the crew that splattered himself on the back of a truck, slid under, or got nailed running a red? LOL... No thanks. I used to ride with the Patriot Guard Riders, who were organized, actually had a purpose, had experienced and trained riders, watched out for each other, and still had loads of fun.

yeah not a fan of group rides. someone not paying attention always crashes. it looked like that guy slammed on that front brake when the guy in front slowed down.

This is why I do so few group rides. Almost every clown in this video is in a race... including the narrator. Just because lane slitting is legal, doesn't make it smart or safe IMHO. Looks to me like there is an effort to make more excuses for more memorial rides. It's hard enough being seen on a two wheeler, so now we going zip in and out flowing traffic to add confusion and and mayhem... 🤬
